Concept Map Ranking

After using and exploring with the mind map programs, I found my favorite one to use was Lucidchart. This map posed the most features that I enjoyed using for creating my concept map on Order of Operations. It would have been even better is there was a better way of connecting each map, but was still my favorite because it was easy to use and I was able to be creative with my map. The next one I enjoyed using was Popplet. This was very user friendly. All I had to do was begin a map, and I could build on it in any direction. I really like that you only have to be clicked into one map and you can change the color and text right there for that specific map. Those two maps were my number one and two followed up by MindMup. This was an easy to use site as well.  It also allowed you to move the maps in a funky order! I would put Bubbl at a close four and Text2MindMap last. Simply because I didn't find it as user friendly as the rest. The other ones I created a blog quite easily and with little difficulty. Text2MindMap kept throwing me off and frustrating me. Doesn't probably help that this mind map concept was new to me this week. :)

lessons

Using a blog, it would be easy for my co-workers and me to put in thoughts and ideas on upcoming lessons. We would be able to work within our classrooms, but in a speed that is faster than emailing back and forth. We could be linking websites and documents into our blog to create ideas with our future lesson plans.
